Stage: Overlord Path: Path of the Hollow King Revelation: “I see.” Key Ability: Arelius bloodline perception
An Overlord who advanced in seconds with the revelation “I see.” Not aspiration but identity: Eithan is one who perceives. He deliberately remained at Underlord for years to avoid threatening Emperor Naru Huan and to wait for his students. In the Uncrowned King Tournament, he maintained exactly 64th place across all trials. The precision of his restraint tells the records more than any victory could.
Stage: Archlord Path: Path of the Hollow King Revelation: “I see.” Key Techniques: Hollow King’s Spear, Hollow Armor, Hollow King’s Mantle, Hollow King’s Crown Weapon: Archlord scissors
An Archlord who advanced using Reigan Shen’s own sponsored resources, a development Shen expected to take years. His Path of the Hollow King operates at full realization: spear, armor, mantle, and crown, all forged from pure madra and soulfire. When the Blood Sage demanded to know who was responsible for the power tearing through his forces, Eithan dragged himself to his feet with a bloody smile. “My apprentice.”
True Name: Ozmanthus Tiberian Mereithan Arelius Title: Ozriel, the Reaper Stage: Judge Original Path: Path of the Hollow King (adapted from destruction madra) Weapon: Scythe of Ozriel
The Reaper. One of seven Judges of the Abidan Court. His full name is Ozmanthus Tiberian Mereithan Arelius; his mother called him Eithan. He hid on Cradle under the Origin Shroud to escape the Mad King and used his time to search for a successor capable of inheriting the Reaper’s role. When Daruman attacked Cradle, Eithan dropped every restraint and fought with the authority of all seven Judges. The Court took him into custody. His last words to his students: “It was fun.”

Restored to full power after Makiel sacrificed his life to fuel the return, Ozriel founded the Reaper Division: the eighth division of the Abidan, staffed by his former students from Cradle. He leads from the Grave, an ancient outpost orbiting Sanctum. Upon reuniting with his students, he held
Soulsmith
Eithan appeared at the Five Factions Alliance camp, where his Arelius bloodline perception detected
Eithan recruited Lindon and Yerin to serve as agents for the Arelius family, calling himself “the greatest janitor in all existence.” His cheerful exterior conceals precise calculation: locked rooms full of sandvipers, breathing techniques taught under duress, and dangerous environments are all deliberate pedagogy. Every lesson is designed to accelerate growth through controlled risk. [SS Ch.8, Ch.13]
Eithan revealed his Underlord advancement, projecting soul pressure that dominated every sacred artist present. His rank had been concealed until this moment. He walks the Path of the Hollow King, built on pure madra with no elemental aspect and no Goldsign, having reached Gold purely through accumulated power. He offered
Blackflame
Eithan’s mentor role deepened as he trained both
In combat against the Jai Patriarch and six Truegolds, Eithan wielded an ordinary iron broom enhanced with pure madra and soulfire. His black scissors cut through Ruler-empowered sword aura, and his techniques dispersed active effects on contact. Pure madra is considered useless by most sacred artists. Eithan treats that misconception as a tactical advantage. [BF Ch.20]
Skysworn
Eithan operated as a Skysworn member, leveraging political connections to protect his students from the aftermath of the Bleeding Phoenix crisis. His pure madra reserves are enormous: a concentrated pulse from him passes through like a curtain of cool water and disperses all active techniques in its path. He fought the Redmoon Hall emissary Longhook to a standstill, using techniques he self-deprecatingly calls “Tiny Scissors.” [SK Ch.5, Ch.9]
Eithan revealed the contents of Ozriel’s marble to
The Arelius family elders stripped Eithan of his Patriarch title shortly after. He let the rejection letter fly away in the wind. [SK Ch.18]
Ghostwater
Operating without Patriarch resources, Eithan hunted Redmoon Hall emissaries alongside Naru Saeya and Chon Ma. His confrontation with Longhook served as the first full public demonstration of his combat arsenal: pure madra armor, a spinning shield that catches and redirects techniques, and a soulfire-empowered Striker beam that pierces defenses and shatters cores on contact. He gathered a cloud of pure madra, condensed it to a point dense as a newborn star, and brought it down from the sky. [GW Ch.13]
His last words to Longhook: “Everything ends.” [GW Ch.13]

Uncrowned
In the Uncrowned King Tournament’s first round, Eithan maintained exactly 64th place across all trials: the precise cutoff for advancement. He bounced between 60th and 64th with such consistency that Akura Charity recognized the pattern as deliberate sandbagging, though she could not determine his purpose. [UC Ch.11]
Wintersteel
Eithan named his Path publicly for the first time: the Path of the Hollow King. In his fourth-round match against Sha Miara, he defeated the Ninecloud heir in nine seconds, wielding the full suite of Hollow King techniques: Hollow Armor that disrupts incoming madra on contact, the Crown of the Hollow King (Forged stars of pure madra overhead, infused with soulfire), and the Hollow Spear (a hyper-compressed beam of pure madra designed to punch through defenses). He timed the fight with a stopwatch construct and was disappointed it took that long. [WS Ch.3]
Eithan advanced to Overlord in seconds at the Arelius underground headquarters. His revelation: “I see.” Not aspiration but a description of his fundamental nature. He had known the insight for years and deliberately remained at Underlord to avoid threatening Emperor Naru Huan and to wait for
Eithan revealed his Archlord advancement during the Blood Sage’s assassination strike on the Akura fortress, having advanced offscreen using Reigan Shen’s own sponsored resources. The Sage of a Thousand Eyes confirmed that “reaching Archlord had never been a problem for him. It had only been a question of resources.” [WS Ch.26]
His Path of the Hollow King at full Archlord realization fielded true armor (transparent helmet and plates), a room-sized mantle that sweeps up incoming techniques and hurls them back, and a spear of blue-white madra that conducts willpower and destroys the soul on contact. He resisted the Blood Sage’s authority commands with willpower alone. When the Blood Sage looked up at the devastation and asked, “This isn’t you. Who is this?” Eithan dragged himself to his feet and answered with a bloody smile: “My apprentice.” [WS Ch.26, Ch.27]
Bloodline
Eithan returned to
After the crisis, Eithan co-founded the Twin Star Sect with a blank banner, legitimizing a name Jai Chen had invented as a bluff. The Windfall cloudfortress served as headquarters. [BL Ch.20]
Reaper
Eithan accompanied the team through the labyrinth beneath
When the Mad King attacked Cradle, stars began winking out across the sky. Every sacred artist on the planet felt the approaching end. Eithan fell to his hands and knees, sobbing quietly. “I’m proud of you, Lindon.” He told his students he loved every second with them, that he had so much fun. Then he held the black marble and spoke: “Remove restraints and release authority. Authorization zero-zero-eight. Ozriel.” [RP Ch.25]
The world stabilized. His hair grew from blond to pure white. Black liquid armor flowed through the Way and sealed around him. The Origin Shroud, which had hidden his existence for decades, dissolved. Eithan Arelius was Ozriel, the Reaper: one of seven Judges of the Abidan Court. His full name: Ozmanthus Tiberian Mereithan Arelius. His mother called him Eithan. [RP Ch.25, Ch.26]
He fought the Mad King with the authority of all seven Judge mantles, reclaimed his imitation Scythe, and bluffed an annihilation strike that drove Daruman to retreat through a Void rift. The Court of Seven arrived in sapphire light.
Suriel explained his hidden purpose: he had been searching for someone to raise as a new Reaper.
Dreadgod
The Court of Seven escorted Ozriel to the Hall of Judgment for sentencing. Gadrael sealed his mouth with a scripted metal band during transport. Once ungagged, he immediately provoked the Court, revealing that Makiel had secretly replicated the Scythe and given it to the Mad King. His sentence restricted his sight, authority, and movement. Suriel was assigned as his supervisor. [DG Prologue]
Ozriel remained bound and restricted throughout the Dreadgod crisis, unable to intervene directly in events on Cradle. His students operated without him, carrying the knowledge that they had a Judge on their side, even if he could not act.
Waybound
Suriel released Ozriel to full strength for the final confrontation with the Mad King: “Authorization zero-zero-six, Suriel.” Without the true Scythe, his odds of mutual survival dropped significantly. He conjured a black sword and engaged Daruman directly. Ozriel was functionally erased: more than gone, neither dust nor echo remaining. [WB Prologue]
Makiel sacrificed his life and title to power Ozriel’s restoration. His real name was Tommess, and his final act was a calculated revenge: ensuring Ozriel would carry the debt of having been saved by the man he least respected. Suriel attempted the Return command, and Makiel fed his own existence into it. Ozriel reappeared in a column of sapphire flames, echoing Makiel’s dying words: “I know everything.” [WB Ch.28]
Ozriel reunited with his students aboard the Grave, an ancient Abidan outpost orbiting Sanctum. White hair against black armor, he arrived without warning. “Did someone say, ‘Where’s Eithan?’” He held
He founded the Reaper Division, the eighth division of the Abidan, staffed by his former students:

The missing scene from the labyrinth. When
When asked why he left the Abidan, why he returned to Cradle, his answer was simple: “It was the job.” The Reaper role, the weight of destroying unsavable Iterations, the loneliness of being unrivaled even in the heavens. “It convinced us to try one last time.” Both exchanged beaming smiles and stood in unison. “At least we kept our hair.” [TH S2]
After the Sky’s Edge battle, Eithan was broken, bruised, and blood-caked, half his robes held together by dried blood. When the injured Yan Shoumei stumbled across him, he let her go. He gave her a void key with rations, scales, and supplies. “You had no choice. You had to choose between killing and dying, which is no choice at all.” When she asked him to come with her, he deflected: “I really, really can’t.” Then he immediately flopped down pretending to die when Lindon arrived, because one of his jokes had already failed and that meant he had to try another. [TH S3]
Eithan’s Presence is a six-inch clone of himself with long blond hair, colorful robes, and a beaming smile. “I asked myself, ‘Whose advice would I most like living in my head?’” The Presence, which only recently gained his memories from Cradle, serves as his ideal self. He compliments it, it compliments him, and it is all perfectly aboveboard. [TH S7]
For
As Reaper Division Judge, Eithan operates from the Grave: a mass of steel and stone in orbit above Sanctum. He assigns missions according to each Reaper’s strengths:
When a Class Three Fiend escaped into the Void, Eithan followed it in. He appeared as a speck of black-and-white against the darkness and destroyed it with one swipe of the Scythe. His parting words to Mercy: “You were a wonderful teaching assistant! My thanks, and goodbye!” [TH S6]
Eithan’s philosophy for the Reaper Division: “Fewer worlds, more interference. Better to meddle now than to Reap later.” If a world is truly beyond redemption: “I will usher it into peace with a smile.” He organized a team-building exercise where each Reaper salvaged a fragment from the Void and
